The construction team has been assembled and there is a very loose goal of re-opening the theatre Fall 2012 (don't hold me to that).

This is HIGHLY unusual--broken strings, yes, but an actual black key broken during performance is virtually unheard of.

That brings me to Burana at Brucemore. This thing is going to be HUGE--roughly 230+ people on stage, thousands of people on the lawn and some music that will be finger lickin' good (did I mention to bring a picnic).

Let's face it, when one thinks of concerto repertoire, the piano or a stringed instrument gets all the love. It's unfair for the rest of the families of instruments who have to compete with this prejudice.
