The Orchestra Iowa School offers a variety of programs for children from infants to grade school.
Music Together®
Music Together® is a program designed to help parents nurture their child's musical growth. It provides developmentally appropriate music and movement instruction to infant, toddler and preschool children and their parents or caregivers. The Music Together approach develops every child's birthright of basic music competence by encouraging the actual music experience.

Music for Little Mozarts
Join music friends Mozart Mouse and Beethoven Bear for a musical adventure this school year! This curriculum is a comprehensive approach to musical learning that develops singing, movement, listening skills, and beginning piano skills along with an introduction to musical styles and concepts. The story of Beethoven Bear and Mozart Mouse sets the stage for music study. Other characters throughout the levels help introduce students to the major composers. Sessions are consecutive and students must complete Level One before moving on to Level Two. Parents are welcome to observe or participate, but not required.

Pied Piper Concerts
Join Orchestra Iowa’s talented chamber ensembles as they introduce preschool-aged children to the instruments of the orchestra! Focused on fun and learning, Pied Piper Concerts offer children the opportunity to enjoy an up-close and personal chamber concert absolutely FREE!
Concerts, each 30-minutes in length, are held at Westdale Mall in Cedar Rapids on Wednesday 1:30 and 2:15 p.m., Thursday and Friday at 9:30, 10:15 and 11 a.m., and Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Iowa City Public Library during each week scheduled. Advance registration for the Cedar Rapids concerts is required for groups and encouraged for families. Contact the Orchestra Iowa School at 319.366.8206. No advance registration is necessary in Iowa City.
