Adult Education
Orchestra Iowa and the Symphony School provide multiple learning and growth opportunities for adults in our community. Individual music lessons can bring the satisfaction of renewing past skills or the opportunity to learn new ones. It’s never too late to learn! Programs connected to Orchestra Iowa concerts allow adults the opportunity to get acquainted with guest artists and repertoire, increasing their knowledge, appreciation, and sense of connection to the performers on stage.
Insight
Learn about the music of each Classical program during Insight, an informative, informal discussion presented by the Symphony School one hour before each concert. Held at the performance venue,
Insight features scholars, performers, and special guests who guide patrons through the historical, cultural, and personal issues relating to that program.
Insight is free and open to all patrons in attendance.
