Music Lessons
There are many opportunities for instrumental lessons at the Symphony School. Children may start as young as three years of age in violin, viola, harp or piano instruction. Older children and adults may also study cello, bass, harp, flute, clarinet, saxophone, horn, trumpet and trombone.
Because curriculum is individualized for each student, people of all skill levels can enjoy the benefits of lessons at the Symphony School, whether beginning study, progressing in instrumental skills, working to prepare for an All-State or college audition, or simply enjoying the satisfaction of renewing a past love. In addition to individual lessons, many School teachers provide monthly studio classes for their students with no additional fee.
Beginning students (Suzuki Pre-Twinkle through Book 1) should register for 30 minute lessons and group class.
Intermediate students (Suzuki Book 2 and 3) should register for 45 minute lessons and group class.
Advanced students (Suzuki Book 4 and up) should register for 60 minute lessons and group class.
