Orff Carmina Burana
Kick off the season under the stars with one of the most popular classical “crossover” pieces of our time. Carmina Burana, an orchestral/choral masterpiece celebrating life, catapulted Orff to international fame in 1937 and has since been widely used in television and film. Two choruses join the orchestra along with three critically-acclaimed vocal soloists, each featured on the first half of the program.
