Orchestra Iowa presents "Follidays: Hooray for Holidays!" - December 18-20

Cedar Rapids, IA – Orchestra Iowa presents “Follidays: Hooray for Holidays!”, Friday & Saturday, December 18 & 19 at 8 p.m., and Sunday, December 20 at 2 p.m. at Sinclair Auditorium on the Coe College campus.

Single tickets for “Follidays: Hooray for Holidays” sponsored by Rockwell Collins, are $14-$24-$39 and may be purchased online at www.orchestraiowa or by calling 319.366.8203 or 800.369.TUNE (8863). Follies is performing its very first Christmas spectacular—featuring guest soloists from the Follies family you’ve come to know and love. This non-stop holiday extravaganza showcases timeless classics, choruses and dance numbers that are sure to leave you smiling and ready for Santa’s arrival!

“Follidays: Hooray for Holidays” follows the story of a dispirited man disgusted with the commercialism and hype of Christmas as he rediscovers the wonder and beauty of the holiday season.

Founded in April 1921, Orchestra Iowa is one of the oldest symphony orchestras in continuous operation west of the Mississippi River. Its 82 professional musicians perform more than 120 public performances throughout Eastern Iowa each year, many of which can be heard on Iowa Public Radio and seen on Iowa Public Television.
