Orchestra Iowa Presents Follies 2010 "Viva Las Vegas" - Audition Call

Cedar Rapids, IA – Orchestra Iowa is pleased to announce it will be holding auditions for Follies 2010 “Viva Las Vegas” on Sunday, February 21 and Tuesday, February 23 at Indian Creek Elementary School, 2900 Indian Creek Road in Marion.

High School & Adult Singers and Dancers
Sunday, February 21, 6:00 – 8:30 p.m.
Tuesday, February 23, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Singers – Prepare a short song

Adult Dancers at 7:00 p.m. both nights
Dancers will be taught a routine
Bring your talented friends along!

Children
(ages 8-13 yrs/ no taller than 5’)
Sunday, February 21, 2010
1:00 – 2:00 p.m. (Last names beginning A-L)
2:30 – 3:30 p.m. (Last names beginning M-Z)
Callbacks at 3:30 p.m.
Children will sing a familiar song in groups of 10 and then taught a simple dance routine

Follies 2010, “Viva Las Vegas,” will be performing at the Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center in Cedar Falls on the University of Northern Iowa campus July 10, 11, 17 & 18, 2010. Matinee performances will be held each day at 2:00 p.m., with evening performances at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 10 & 17. Tickets will go on sale to the public March 15th.
